I obtained my master’s degree in finance and banking from Tallinn Technical University in 2007 and all of my work so far has been closely related to finance and banking. My earliest experience in the financial sector came during my time at university, when I worked as an accountant and tax administrator.
After completing my bachelor’s degree I worked as a financial consultant with OÜ Casa Consulting (1998-2002), focusing on accountancy and company start-up services. As one of the founders of the family company Aaba Raamatupidamise OÜ (2002) I have been continuously involved with financial consultation, cost-benefit analysis and accounting.
Working for KredEx (2002-2007) as an underwriter and later as the Head of the Corporate Clients Division, my responsibilities included not only analysis and structuring of business transactions but also constant communication with commercial banks, ministries and key clients in Estonia and abroad as well as participating in the work of the credit committee. I was also responsible for the development of KredEx’s medium and long-term export guarantee and mezzanine financing products and for the successful structuring of the first transactions.
In my time with the international investment bank United Partners Group (2008-2009) I was mainly involved in the restructuring of companies, evaluation of companies and strategic financial advising.
The idea behind founding Nordic CF Advisory was to make better and more effective use of the experience I have gained in different parts of the financial sector over the years.
